The VA13 was developed for Vincent Ahrens, a first-division player in the Deutschland Baseball League (DBL), combining the proven barrel profile of the I13 with a completely different approach to the handle.

The VA13 uses the I13 barrel profile, giving the bat the large hitting surface and power-oriented characteristics that make the I13 a popular choice for hitters.

What makes the VA13 different is the no-knob handle, inspired by the handle design of our T110DM model.

Without a traditional knob at the bottom of the handle, the hitter can adjust their grip position slightly higher or lower depending on what feels most comfortable. This effectively allows the player to fine-tune how much of the bat is in their hands and adjust the feel of the bat to different situations.

This can be particularly useful when facing different pitchers. A slightly different grip position can change the feel, control, and effective length of the bat, giving the hitter another tool for adapting at the plate.

The result is a versatile bat combining the power of the I13 profile with the freedom and comfort of a no-knob handle.
